Content policy

The API follows the same content rules as the studio. The help forum’s Content and safety page explains them for everyone, and the Terms of Use bind every account. This page says how the rules show up in API calls. You must be at least 18 years old to use Voplica.

  • Your private items stay private.
  • Publishing is checked. Voplica’s systems may block an item from being published when they judge it not safe for work. They can misjudge: if you think a refusal comes from a wrong rating of your content, report it through support and Voplica rates it again.
  • Publishing waits for Voplica’s rating. While the rating is not ready, the content item’s publicationPending is true. Then the item is public, or its publicationRefused is true. The reason for a refusal is not shared.
  • The texts a run uses — a prompt, a script, a caption — are checked once, before any GPU work starts. Prompts and references are verified by Voplica’s safety mechanisms, which may involve third-party services for part of the verification.
  • A request these checks block is not charged. The run ends FAILED, and its ERROR message begins with the token CONTENT_POLICY_REFUSED, followed by “This request was blocked by our safety systems. Nothing was charged.” The details of a decision are not shared.
  • One text is at most 50,000 characters. A longer one is refused the same way, uncharged, with a message that begins with CONTENT_POLICY_INPUT_TOO_LONG: “A text in this request is longer than 50,000 characters. Nothing was charged - shorten it and try again.”

Read these tokens at the start of the message: the message’s code field can be empty.

Voplica’s safety systems can flag an item, a private one included, and a moderator then reviews it. While it is under review, a flagged item cannot be used as an input to a new run or deleted. The moderator’s decision has three possible outcomes, which Content and safety lists, together with how to appeal. Repeated violations close the account, and the person may not register again.
